- FOURTEEN GOLF Immediate Release - 05 August, 2013

IRVINE, CA - August 4, 2013 - FOURTEEN GOLF, a global leader in the development of golf equipment design, announced today that Tour Professional and FOURTEEN GOLF Staffer Chad Collins enjoyed another successful Tour event. This week he shot a 7-Under 277 to tie for third place at the Tour Mylan Classic.

According to Fourteen Golf COO Marcy Kamoda, "Chad is enjoying a tremendous second half of the Tour season. He has taken third place three times including this finish at the Mylan Classic. Two weeks ago he shot a 60 using our wedges at the Utah Championship - he is on fire!"

Collins remarkable play at the Tour Mylan Classic included two rounds in the sixties, a 66 in the opening round and a 69 in the third round. His third place finish was attained playing four FOURTEEN GOLF wedges - a 48-degree, 50-degree, 56-degree and 60-degree. Carrying additional FOURTEEN GOLF Wedges is a short game advantage that has help him move up the money list.

"The short game contributes greatly to a golfer's overall score. This is why our wedges continue to be played on tour globally and the trend to carrying additional wedges continues," added Kamoda.

In addition to Collins carrying four FOURTEEN GOLF Wedges, two Tour Professionals did the same. One played FOURTEEN GOLF RM Series Wedges in a 47-degree, 52-degree, 57-degree and a 62-degree to tie for third. A tie for tenth place was also possible playing four FOURTEEN GOLF RM-12 but his lofts differ, his choice a 48-degree, 52-degree, 56-degree and 60-degree.

According to Chad Collins, "The FOURTEEN GOLF RM-12 Wedges allow me to have the confidence to execute any shot from any lie. Along with conforming grooves that produce more than enough spin at just the right times. I rely on my FOURTEEN GOLF wedges during every condition out on tour."

This tour inspired, high performance RM-12 Wedge features the same large trapezoidal grooves as its predecessor, the RM 11-Wedge. These expanded grooves impart exceptional spin and rotational speed as the RM acronym implies - "Revolution per Minute."

Tour players like to create different shots using the same wedge so the engineers rounded the toe and heel area on the H-Sole available on the 48-degree to 58-degree models and actually removed the back portion of the sole. These modifications allow golfers to open and close the face, promoting a variety of shots.

For the 60-degree RM-12 Wedge, the design team implemented a T-Sole, also known as a Twin Sole. A distinct ridge in the middle portion of the sole allows the club to get through any type of lie easily as the leading edge is able to slide under the club effortlessly. Additionally, when the club face is open, the back portion of the sole encourages the ball to pop up with the perfect amount of spin.

Touring Professionals appreciated the company's original "reverse taper design" so the engineers used it as a platform but increased the weight distribution on the upper blade to create a "reverse muscle design." In effect, the weight is perfectly proportioned on the blade and club head which creates stability through impact. Now golfers have better control from any lie. No more missing greens

In addition to the vast amount of professional golfers playing FOURTEEN GOLF equipment, the company has a professional FOURTEEN GOLF staff team which includes PGA Professionals John Mallinger, Arjun Atwal, Ryuji Imada and Chad Collins.
