- FOURTEEN GOLF Immediate Release - 13 May, 2013
IRVINE, CA - May 13, 2013 - FOURTEEN GOLF, a global leader in the development of golf equipment design, announced today that the company's widely accepted Utility Iron was used to navigate the demanding Players Stadium Course to lock in a tie for fifth place.
According to Fourteen Golf COO Marcy Kamoda, "Our Utility Irons continue to gain recognition on the PGA and Web.com Tour. Every week more and more professionals are putting them into play - especially when they are facing golf courses like the Players Stadium Course where accuracy is critical."
Last week at the Stadion Classic, FOURTEEN GOLF Utility Irons were played for a runner-up finish and this week at the Tournament of Players Championship, a PGA Professional played a #3 FOURTEEN GOLF Utility Iron for a strong Top-5 finish. During the four day exclusive event, he was on the front page of the leaderboard trailing behind the leaders.
FOURTEEN GOLF developed a tour specific Utility Iron that not only the Professionals can play but the average golfer can manage - the Hi-610 T.S. It's uniquely shaped hollow head produces the distance of a fairway wood with the accuracy of an iron and a precisely positioned CG makes the Hi-610 T.S. controllable as well as stable.
"These highly engineered Utility Irons guarantee that the Professional or accomplished golfer reach their intended target. They are the perfect alternative to a traditional iron, hybrid or fairway wood," added Kamoda.
The Hi-610h T.S. features a relatively small club head size. The idea was to maintain the appearance of a traditional iron while managing to produce a club that will allow golfers to hit solidly out of any rough. A proprietary sole design promotes ease out of any rough as well as promotes a solid and accurate shot. There are three Hi-610h T.S. Utility Irons to choose from, a #2, #3, and #4.
"We congratulate this PGA Professional for playing so well on such a challenging golf course and thank him for playing our Utility Iron every week," added Kamoda.
In addition to the vast amount of professional golfers playing FOURTEEN GOLF equipment, the company has a professional FOURTEEN GOLF staff team which includes PGA Professionals John Mallinger, Arjun Atwal, Ryuji Imada and Chad Collins.
