FOURTEEN GOLF Captures Two Professional Golf Victories in One Weekend

- FOURTEEN GOLF Immediate Release - 25 February, 2013

IRVINE, CA - February 25, 2013 - FOURTEEN GOLF, a global leader in the development of golf equipment and recent recipient of the 2013 Golf Digest "Hot List" award, announced today that the company was credited with two professional golf victories. According to the Tour Van powered by Golf Week, the first victory was on the PGA Tour at the World Golf Championships - Accenture Match Play Championship and the second at the eGolf Tour Oldfield Open.

"This was an exciting weekend for FOURTEEN GOLF! We watched our utility iron control some pretty difficult shots in the Arizona desert to shut out the defending Match Play Champion while our award winning RM-12 wedges were played to earn the Oldfield Open title," according to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda."

FOURTEEN GOLF and their Utility Irons continue to gain popularity on and off the tour. Last weekend at the World Golf Championships - Accenture Match Play Championship, inclement weather made a very difficult Dove Mountain Golf Course even harder to manage. Strong and gusty winds made it challenging to hit long shots going into the green - let alone hold them. So, a FOURTEEN GOLF enthusiast played smart en route to his first title of the year. He used his tour specific FOURTEEN GOLF Utility Iron to help him control these shots.

"Our Utility Irons produce the distance of a fairway wood with the accuracy of an iron. I encourage golfers of all levels to personal demo one. For the consumer, we've developed the HI-610h T.S. for golfers who want to hit their long shots directly at the pin," adds Kamoda. The HI-610h T.S. features a relatively small club head size. The idea was to maintain the appearance of a traditional iron while managing to produce a club that will allow golfers to hit solidly out of any rough. There are three HI-610h T.S. Utility Irons to choose from, a #2, #3, and #4. "We thank the eGolf Tour Professional for playing our RM-12 Wedges to capture his first eGolf victory," added Kamoda.

Testing has proven that the RM-12 Wedge maintains more of its spin in wet or soggy conditions as compared to any other wedge on the market. This benefited one eGolf Professional who used a RM-12 Wedge in a 52.10, 56.12, and 60.08 to win on a heavily saturated Oldfield Golf Course. The USGA conforming, proprietary trapezoidal grooves helped him recover from wet rough and slushy sand bunkers.

These uniquely shaped trapezoidal grooves have been enlarged by 15% as compared to other FOURTEEN GOLF wedges. This increase in overall groove volume enhances spin retention particularly on partial shots. In addition, these high quality grooves perform well in both dry and wet conditions.

FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. The company proudly announced the addition of PGA Professional John Mallinger to the FOURTEEN GOLF Professional Staff in January of 2013. He will play the RM Series Wedges as well as wear a FOURTEEN GOLF cap. His staff bag, head covers, umbrella and towel will all display the FOURTEEN GOLF logo.

"The RM-12 Wedges are amazing. I always have great control from any lie which allows me to make the shot I want every time," John Mallinger.

Last year, FOURTEEN GOLF officially signed PGA Professional Ryuji Imada to a three year endorsement deal which includes a staff bag, head covers, hat, umbrella and wedges. He joins FOURTEEN GOLF team members PGA Professionals Chad Collins and Arjun Atwal. "I love the FOURTEEN GOLF RM-12 Wedges. The workability of these wedges are unbelievable," said Atwal.
